Micro Toners (MICR)
By ezcheckwriter | October 17, 2007
Most local office supply stores carry a line of Micro Toners. Although, it is recommended to use micro toners when printing checks, I have never had a problem depositing checks that were generated by regular toner cartridge. The main purpose of the micro toner is so that when it goes to Washington’s Key Services for processing, they can run it in their machine to expedite the process. Unreadable, micr account numbers go to a special department for manual processing.
